Business Terms of Service

Welcome to Seglo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our business management platform operated by SEGLO PTY LTD (ABN 65 694 776 488). By using Seglo, you agree to these Terms.

SEGLO PTY LTD is an Australian company that serves businesses globally. We're committed to helping you manage your business efficiently while protecting your data.

Enterprise Service Notice

Seglo is an enterprise B2B platform designed exclusively for businesses and organisations. Our services are sold to registered businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and companies. Seglo is not available for individual consumer, personal, or family use. All subscription plans (Solo, Business, Custom) are intended for commercial business operations.

1. Using Seglo

To use Seglo, you must:

  • Be a registered business (sole trader, partnership, or company) operating commercially
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate business and contact information when creating your account
  • Keep your password secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Have authority to bind your business if signing up on its behalf

Note: Staff accounts are provisioned and managed by the business administrator. Individual staff members do not create independent accounts—they are invited by their organisation.

2. What We Provide

Seglo is a platform for service-based businesses (beauty, wellness, health) that includes:

  • Online appointment booking and scheduling
  • Client management and profiles
  • Staff scheduling and roster management
  • Pay calculation for your team (commission and hourly)
  • Basic business analytics and reporting
  • Payment processing through Stripe
  • Instagram integration to showcase your work
  • SMS and email notifications for appointments

Note: Some features shown as "Coming Soon" are in development and not yet available.

3. Your Account

3.1 Account Security

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe
  • Let us know immediately if someone uses your account without permission
  • We use industry-standard security but can't guarantee perfect security

3.2 Account Termination

  • Organisation administrators can cancel the business subscription anytime in account settings
  • To fully delete your organisation account and all associated data, contact support@seglo.ai
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or for non-payment
  • You'll have access until the end of your paid period after cancellation

3.3 Staff Account Management

As an enterprise B2B platform, staff accounts are managed at the organisation level:

  • Organisation administrators create, manage, and remove staff accounts
  • Individual staff members cannot delete organisation accounts or their own staff profiles
  • Staff who leave an organisation should request account removal from their administrator
  • Administrators can remove staff access immediately through the dashboard

4. Payments and Subscriptions

4.1 Pricing

  • Current pricing is shown on our pricing page and during signup
  • Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD)
  • We'll give you 30 days notice before any price increases
  • Different modules may have different pricing models

4.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • We accept credit and debit cards
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension after notice

4.3 Refunds

We generally don't offer refunds for partial months. If you're unhappy with the service, please contact us and we'll try to resolve the issue. Refunds may be considered for service failures or at our discretion.

4.4 Free Core Platform

The core Seglo platform is free to use. You only pay for bookable seats and optional premium modules. Choose only what you need for your business.

5. Your Data and Privacy

5.1 Data Ownership

You own all the data you put into Seglo. We only use it to provide our services to you. Our detailed privacy practices are in our Privacy Policy.

5.2 Data Access

  • You can access your data anytime through the platform
  • Contact support if you need help accessing specific data
  • We're working on data export features for easier migration

5.3 Your Responsibilities

If you collect sensitive information (health data, personal details) from your clients, you're responsible for getting their consent and following applicable privacy laws.

6. Third-Party Services

We integrate with these services:

  • Stripe: For payment processing (their terms apply to payments)
  • Instagram: If you choose to connect your account
  • Google: For authentication if you use Google sign-in
  • AWS: For hosting and data storage

When you use these integrations, you're also agreeing to their terms. You can disconnect integrations anytime in your settings.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't use Seglo to:

  • Break any laws or regulations
  • Harm, harass, or defraud others
  • Spread malware or hack the system
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your business
  • Resell or redistribute our services without permission
  • Violate intellectual property rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Fair Use Policy

While we offer unlimited staff accounts and many generous features, Seglo must be used for legitimate business purposes in a manner consistent with standard business operations.

8.1 Reasonable Use

  • Staff accounts should correspond to real team members in your business
  • Resource usage should be proportional to your paid bookable seats
  • The service must be used for genuine business operations
  • Automated or bulk operations should not disrupt service for other users

8.2 What's Not Fair Use

  • Creating excessive accounts that don't reflect actual business needs
  • Using the platform to test, benchmark, or stress our systems
  • Automated activities that degrade performance for other users
  • Any usage pattern that suggests abuse rather than legitimate business use

We monitor usage patterns to ensure fair access for all customers. If we notice unusual activity, we'll reach out to understand your needs. Accounts showing clear signs of abuse may be suspended or terminated after warning.

Note: This policy helps us maintain service quality for all users while keeping our pricing fair and transparent. For enterprise needs beyond standard usage, please contact us for custom solutions.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep Seglo running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Sometimes we need to do maintenance or updates. We'll try to notify you in advance when possible.

10. Limitations and Disclaimers

10.1 Service "As Is"

We provide Seglo "as is" without warranties. While we work hard to provide a reliable service, we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly or meet all your needs.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 6 months. We're not responsible for lost profits, data loss, or indirect damages.

10.3 Your Responsibility

You're responsible for your use of Seglo and any consequences. You agree to indemnify us from claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

Note: Nothing here limits rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Intellectual Property

Our Property: The Seglo platform, its design, and features are our property and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You keep ownership of all content and data you upload. You give us permission to use it only to provide our services to you.

Feedback: If you give us suggestions or feedback, we can use it to improve Seglo without owing you anything.

12. Disputes

If we have a dispute, let's try to resolve it by talking first. Contact us at support@seglo.ai and we'll work to fix the issue.

If we can't resolve it informally, disputes will be handled under Victorian law in Melbourne, Australia. However, if you're a consumer, you may have rights to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as we add features or laws change. If we make significant changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect.

If you don't agree with the changes, you can close your account before they take effect. Continuing to use Seglo after changes means you accept the new terms.
